It's our one-year anniversary! To celebrate, we flipped the format! Instead of having my guest show me a piece of media from THEIR childhood that I've never seen before, I'M THE ONE showing my guest something that I grew up with, that my English Canadian friends missed out on!
My guest is once again the hilarious comedian Evan Mumford, who graciously accepted to subject himself to this experiment. I am showing him a few sketches from the Quebecois comedy group "Les Chick'n Swell", specifically from their 2001 TV show that aired on Radio-Canada (aka "french CBC"), written and performed by Daniel Grenier, Francis Cloutier and Simon-Olivier Fecteau.
If you're curious and wish to go on that discovery journey with us, I strongly suggest you head on to our Youtube channel, where I uploaded the sketches we watched for the episode WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES that I made myself: https://bit.ly/3iaaMBH
For more Evan Mumford, follow him on IG: @evanmumford!
And check out his amazing podcast: the Bad Expectations podcast!

What Did I Miss? is a podcast where guests introduce TV shows and movies from their childhood to a host who has never seen them before.
French Canadian expat MJ Bourque asks her guests to introduce her to the movies and TV shows of their childhood so she can catch up on the cultural references she missed out on growing up in another language.
Every episode we recap the plot of the media in question, dive into some pieces of trivia, and learn a bit more about the guests themselves.
